Gateworks Newport Family Ordering Options

The following is a list of Newport part numbers for ordering standard board versions. For other options contact the factory for a customer specific special. Note customer specials require a minimum 100 piece build size.

Development kits include a standard Newport board (ie. GW6100, GW6200, etc...).

Generic Numbering Theory

Gateworks has created a numbering system for each model.

Part numbers ending in:

  • 00 = Standard Version
  • 04 = Maximum board configuration - Increase processor to Quad Core + increase DDR Memory + Add GPS + Add other optional features depending on model. Note only the GW6300 and GW6400 are currently offered in Max Configurations as standard stocking models.

These are simply guidelines. Please consult each specific model below for verification.

GW610x

GW6100 = 800MHz Dual Core, 1GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11040-1

GW6104 = Max Board Version 1.5GHz Quad Core, 2GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, GPS

  • Development Kit = GW11040-2

GW620x

GW6200 = 800MHz Dual Core, 1GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11041-1

GW6204 Max Board Version 1.5GHz Quad Core, 2GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, GPS, CAN

  • Development Kit = GW11041-2

GW630x

GW6300 = 800MHz Dual Core, 1GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11042-1

GW6304 Max Board Version 1.5GHz Quad Core, 2GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, GPS, CAN = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11042-2 = Standard Stocking Model

GW640x

GW6400 = 800MHz Dual Core, 1GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, 5 x GbE ports = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11043-1

GW6404 Max Board Version 1.5GHz Quad Core, 2GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, 5 x GbE ports + 2 x SFP, GPS, CAN = Standard Stocking Model

  • Development Kit = GW11043-2 = Standard Stocking Model
