Chrome Remote Desktop

Some support requests are most effectively resolved using remote desktop. Google Chrome is commonly installed on most desktop workstations, in an effort to avoid installing extraneous software Gateworks support's preferred remote desktop solution is Chrome Remote Desktop.

Setup

Install Chrome:

• ​https://www.google.com/chrome/

Go to this URL:

• ​https://remotedesktop.google.com/support/

In the "Get support" window select "Download", then "Accept and Install".

With the software installed navigate to chrome://apps/ in your Chrome browser, then select "Chrome Remote Desktop" app.

Select the "Share" button and provide the Gateworks support representative with the remote access code.
