Ventana and Newport boards use a dual function connector which contains both SIM and microSD card slots in the one connector.

The microSD card offers the following support: Fully compliant with SD command/response sets and Physical Layer as defined in the SD Memory Card Specifications, v3.0 including high-capacity SDHC cards up to 32 GB and SDXC cards up to 2TB.

The SIM is a full size SIM and is mapped to one of the Mini-PCIe connectors for cellular modem support.

Arrangement:

• SIM Card goes on the top slot of the connector (white card in picture below)
• MicroSD is on the side edge of the connector (black card partially inserted in picture below)
