    20172017 * Ensure the SIM is put in the SIM slot with the angle on the SIM card inserted first
    20182018 * Ensure the SIM is activated and in a known working state with a stable and known working modem
     2019  * Gateworks has seen scenarios that the modem can't connect with a known working SIM. This may be the difference in if a SIM is activated for data only, or data + voice + SMS. Try with a SIM that has everything enabled, or analyze the modem to put the modem into data only mode via AT commands.
    20192020 * Run the following AT commands to disable the modem for SIM detection and hot swap (GW1614x does not have a SIM detect pin)
