GW3089 GBlade Server Blade
Getting Started
The GBlade is pre-installed with Ubuntu.
The GBlade should be powered via PoE.
The GBlade serial console can be accessed through the type C USB port through a cable to a desktop/laptop PC. The serial console will show up as a /dev/ttyUSBx device in Linux and can be accessed through a terminal program with the baud rate of 115,200.
Example:
sudo screen /dev/ttyUSB1 115200,cs8
Ethernet
There are two ports, 1GbE and 10GbE.
- (eth1) 1GbE RGMII port is on the left (PoE)
- (eth0) 10GbE XFI port is on the right.
PoE
Isolated 802.3at 1GbE active PoE is supported on the left port.
For 10GbE PoE, please contact Gateworks Sales.
NVME Drive
The GBlade needs to be opened up to install a 2280 NVME flash storage drive. 4 lanes of PCIe is supported.
LED
An LED is supported
Cooling Fan
The fan runs at specific setpoints
